Rondine is near to Cappannelle House
We got the chance to visit a very unique place on the outskirts of Arezzo called Rondine, an association who refers to themselves as “The Citadel of Peace.”

Rondine takes applications from students who live in areas affected by war and unrest. If accepted to the program, the students’ tuition, fees, and everything except normal living expenses is completely paid for, and they live in the community of Rondine while taking classes at universities near Arezzo. At Rondine, as part of the introduction to the program, all the students learn Italian together, which is the “official language” of the Rondine campus. Students also participate in workshops and discussions throughout their time at Rondine, but take their classes and pursue their degrees at partner universities.
